To Kill A Mocking Bird
Author: Harper Lee
Pages: 296

I found this book to be a good book because I could relate to the children in the story. Scout and I are the same age, 10, and I thought she was very brave. I am so glad that there isn't as much prejudice in this country as there was then. I think that would scare me a lot. Atticus was a very smart man and was able to go to court and help a lot of people. I would recommend this book to anyone who was curious about life in the south in the 1920's and 30's.

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis is a very interesting book. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good fantasy. In the story, four kids find a magical wardrobe in their uncle's old house. When they open it up it is a portal to a fantasy world. This world is full of amazing creatures like a Faun who is half human and half deer. Things aren't always as they seem though. Just as the kids think they have found the best land in the universe, they meet an evil queen. She is so wicked that she kidnaps one of them.Who was kidnapped? How will the others get their sibling back? What other creatures will they meet and how does the lion fit in? How will they survive in a mysterious land of magic and talking animals? These are all things to find out in this amazing book!
